Dr Kathy Luong is a General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019. She has gained broad clinical experience across Queensland, working within hospital settings in Brisbane, Rockhampton and Far North Queensland across a range of medical and surgical subspecialties. She is also an Associate Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Queensland.

Dr Luong completed a Graduate Diploma in Child Health through the Sydney Child Health Program in 2024 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2026. Her experience in child health complements her broad approach to general practice and caring for patients across different stages of life.

As a Family GP, Dr Luong is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care with an emphasis on continuity of care and preventative health. She supports patients with everyday health concerns, health assessments, immunisations and chronic disease management, alongside areas such as mental health, women’s health and men’s health. She values clear communication and working collaboratively with patients to support their ongoing health and wellbeing.
